A Ghana where every restored acre is measured, monitored and owned by the people who made it possible.
Our mission
Yendia exists to make reforestation trustworthy. Too many tree campaigns end at the donation — nobody knows whether the tree was planted, where it stands, or if it survived. We built Yendia around a field-grade monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) system so that doesn't happen here.
Local field officers plant and geotag every seedling with a mobile app, capture photographic evidence, and return for monitoring visits. That evidence becomes your impact — visible, traceable and honest.
Our story
Yendia grew out of Ghana's climate and restoration work as a dedicated tree-planting program. It brings together local communities, field science and modern technology to restore degraded landscapes across the country — starting in the Eastern Region and growing outward.
The name carries a simple promise: what we plant, we account for.
What we stand for
Restore, don't just plant
We prioritise indigenous species and agroforestry that rebuild ecosystems and support livelihoods — not fast-growing monocultures that look good in a photo.
Measure everything
Every tree is registered with GPS, photographed, and revisited. Survival, health and growth are recorded honestly — a replaced tree never hides a lost one.
Share the proof
The data field teams collect flows straight to your dashboard. You see your trees, their locations and their real impact — not a marketing estimate.
